John F. Kennedy was a descendant of an Irish immigrant. His father graduated from Harvard. Kennedy Attended many different schools and was always moving around. Kennedy served in the navy during World War 2. He was given a purple heart and a navy and Marine Corps medal. Kennedy also worked as a Journalist before running for the House of Representatives.

What they did to impact the Civil Rights Movement (4-5 sentences) (9 pts)

Kennedy made a big impact on the civil rights. Mostly because he was a president that was for civil rights. He would have done more but he was assassinated before he could sign the bill of rights. His assassination also impacted the civil rights movement. It shocked people and made them realize the significance. Kennedy also had a big impact with his belifes on Affermative Action. He supported this and freedon riders witch impacted the movement and allowd many bills to be passed

I think this because He did allot for the civil right movement and allot of people like him. Also he was assassinated before his first term was even done so that impacted his importance. I think he would have been more of an importance if he had lived longer.
